
In this 6 week course, students learn basic communication vocabulary and grammar in every day
conversations. Students learn basic cultural standards which may enhance or hinder
understanding. Students will learn how to speak basic Spanish in order to:
Students will be exposed to basic Hispanic cultural aspects of time, customs, family, and religion.
(This course may be taken for college credit (3 hours) or CEUs.)
Geared towards professionals in the following fields: Nursing, Healthcare, Business,
Construction, Banking, Restaurant/Food Service, Fire, and Service Police.
A cohort of professionals will improve their vocabulary skills and build up confidence so
they are not afraid of getting involved in deeper conversations in this 6 week course.
Advanced Hispanic cultural aspects of politics, brand loyalties, immigration, myths, customs, religion, and economics will be explored.
This third level will allow students to speak with sufficient structural accuracy and vocabulary in order to participate in the most formal and informal conversations on practical, social, and professional topics.
